Saint Gabriel lead a AUD$6.0 million private placement on behalf of Frontier Resources Limited .

Background

Frontier Resources, a precious and base metals exploration company, is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), with projects located in Papua New Guinea. Frontier Resources was seeking to raise capital from a cornerstone investor to fund its existing gold and copper exploration projects and invest in new project acquisitions.

Saint Gabriel identified a suitable cornerstone investor in Asia. The investor was Forise Investment Sydney Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Forise Group, one of the largest non-bank financial institutions in China. Saint Gabriel managed the transaction process and negotiations between Frontier Resources and Forise.

Due to the structure of the transaction, an independent expert report was needed, and the private placement required approval from ASX, ASIC, and existing shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting. Interim finance was also arranged to see Frontier Resources through the transaction process to completion.

Saint Gabriel consulted and guided the Board of Frontier Resources.

Outcome

Frontier Resources successfully raised $6.0 million through a private placement.
